Brand New to EQ, have one question...Follow

Im sure there are prolly other posts retaining to my subject, so if this is a repetative post im sorry. I was wondering since ive just started playing EQ most recently and needed to know just some basic information; for starters which server would be the absolute best for me play on as far as there being alot of lower level chars and enough around that it wont be hard for me to find help or a group to level with. Also i wanted to know what would be the best race/class to start with. Now im not asking for which race or class would own over everything or kick the most butt, i just want to know which race/class would be the best for a person who is brand new to EQ and is looking for i guess you could say a "novice" character, nothing to hard or complex to understand, something really easy to use and level. Im not sure how often these posts are read or what not so i can be patient when it comes to receiveing an answer from this post, but when you do deside to help me out by replying to this post could you please email me your reply as well, i check my email more often then this forum so im afraid if theres a reply ill forget to check.
