I guess it's question day for me. I'm curious to know what others use for tribute. Not to turn in for tribute but what tribute effects you use.

Offhand, I cannot recall all the names, but on my chanter I am using the HP and Mana increase ones (+150 to each I think), the extended distance V , spell haste V and mana preservation V.

My rogue is using Vindication, + to HP, the double attack increase one and I'm not sure of the other two but I think Ijust have it set-up for strength and dexterity increase atm.

Tribute counts as worn. Therefore I just use augs and gear for what I want and don't bother with tribute.

Since i don't quite have FT maxed I used the mana regen one sometimes, and if i have a big raid coming up I add the extra mana one. I only use tribute very rarely however, like when i'm completely oom and theres not much med time.

Being a tank class, I strive for as much HP and AC as I can get. As such I use Rank6 of both. Since it's pure +hp and +ac, there are no stacking issues to deal with :). I used to use the 31% haste one, until I picked up the type7 haste aug (36%) from the DoN merchant as well.

I use see invis, since my gear does not supply that, and its essential for a rogue. I also use +hps only the first level, costs me about 11 tribute total every 10 minutes which is fairly cheap. I would use alot more if I could change the tribute buffs without running back to home city. I wish thier were multiple tribute buff settings like a bandilier.

melees use ac/hp regen/ maybe dex. Haste if they dont have haste item.
Casters use manna regen/ ext range/ added manna.
I use it situationally. It makes for a good boost when the mob turns out tough or you get an add. Or to make the downtime go by faster.

I use the haste and ft2 tribute. Maybe I'll try the extended range and hitpoint one next time I'm on, tho.

I did this up until I was about 66th level. Then I noticed I was coming close to having to make a decision between say, a mana preserve V aug an an HP mana or stat aug, etc as I was running out of aug slots. I just decided to dump the mana preservation aug and put that Hive aug from the 69.1 in there. 20/20 mana and hp with +2 mana regen was more important than an aug for mana preservation since I could get the same effect from tribute.

I can totally see going back to all worn stuff w/effects with no tribute on (except the +hp and +mana ones, I see no reason ever to not have those set-up, an extra 150 of each is always a good thing). This would assume that I get some gear that provides a better mana preservation than the tribute mana preserve V, etc. As an example, I do not use spell damage V tribute because I get a better effect from Muram's Anger on an item I wear.

I do alot of tradeskills, so getting tribute is almost a non issue for me. I do LDoNs every so often as well, and most of the drops off the named there are really only good for tribute too.

AE V is not obtainable except for Tribute or Player Made Omens Augments ($$$).

There are various Time and DoN+ foci that come close, but none quite reach AE V's level (although I have not read up on Demi-Plane loot.. not really an issue for me).

I run AE V and maintain a tribute balance sufficient to do so for months.. but I hate having to remember to turn it off and on, too.
