Ive heard from someone that when PoR expansion comes out you will be able to buy aa's for plat, except for the aa's that they will be coming out with on the expansion, anyone know if thats true, or anymore information about it? if so please post it, thank you.

There are no new AAs with PoR at all anyway.

After 16 years, I'm not listing every friggin character.
The whole Plat for AA's was prob started by IGE so people would buy more plat from them for real money

It most likely started from the Beta Merchant issue from 2 weeks ago. When they patched they 'accidentaly' put some vendors live that were on the test servers. There was one merchant who was selling AAs for plat. People most likely thought these vendors would be coming out for PoR thus the rumor started.

Yes and no. It'll be similar to DoN. There are aas but not in the normal sense that get them with experience. They have quests that unlock them.

I was never a big raider, so I valued the ability to advance my character through normal hunting. This was my greatest love in the game! Its why I play EQ! But, seriously, when they started making spells so hard to obtain.. if they move that to AA's, AND don't have normal AA's.. well.. that's just going to be depressing.

No AA's? That.. sort of.. depresses me..
I was never a big raider, so I valued the ability to advance my character through normal hunting. This was my greatest love in the game! Its why I play EQ! But, seriously, when they started making spells so hard to obtain.. if they move that to AA's, AND don't have normal AA's.. well.. that's just going to be depressing.
As I understand it, no AA's for plat. Also, as I understand it, the PoR patch WILL allow moon cheese for plat or as a combine that can only be done by VahShir. No stat food can be made with the moon cheese, but it can be used for proof of its own existence to all doubters.

I read somewhere from SOE that they are not adding AA's this expansion to give people a break. I think it will be something like DoN which was nice. As long as it is not every 2nd expansion that dont have new AA's.
It would be a sad day for EQ if they made it so you could buy AA's and let you keep them on normal servers.

Maybe you'll be able to trade in the Moon Cheese for AA's??
