MM loot question....Follow

Ok, It seems for the rare and common drops in a monster mission, the items scale to your respective level...51-60...61-70 etc.

But someone told me last night that the item automatically becomes upgraded when you hit lv61?

For instance I got the swordd from the nek mission at lv59, and its still a 15/20 sword with the stats appropriately scaled down. So when I hit Lv61, the sword will automatically become the 17/20 version?

Ok, thanks. So basically its not even worth doing these things untill lv61 if your going for the items you can get in them.

Why would someone tell me that they upgrade. Dang noobs!

the dude said you see someone in PoK and he upgrades the item for you. But mind you I have no clue who that is.

Perhaps they are confusing MM drops with Evolving Items.

I looted a few of the MM drops pre-61 because they were decent enough and no one else needed them. Going back after 61, you can re-loot them. They transform into a new item with all the stats maxxed so you will have both the old and the new. Old ones make nice pet gear, or keep for souvenir...

As far as the loot not being worth it? Says who.
As an untwinked,plat poor shaman the sleeves for the Stonebrunt MM are very nice. Im even looking forward to the next time the guild does the mission to get a new improved pair.
Same goes for elneclare and her druid arms from HHK. Though her main characters are being transferred to povar from ct this week with a few thousand plat and some upgrades.

No you don't as the item you wear is lore, but different from the one you loot. ONLY if they become the same after zone out will the new looted item vanish

EDIT : oh yes and you get a message upon looting that lore items are not allowed.
