Been a week since my question and the only content posted in this thread is either complaints and/or flames.
Does ne1 know the diff this time between the CD and the DL version??
I'm still sad that my mate got 2 potions on the cd and i didn't on the DL .... (3 or 4 expansions ago) Dang.. i should be over dat by now... but happened again when she got the shroud for the gargoyle and i didn't on the DL.
Of course, I haven't ruled out that chance that I messed up a claim here and there....
Nevertheless, is there a diff between the two purchase options?

Am waiting abit to buy it, but on a side note you don't have to buy the expansion from my understanding to block spells. if you go to Charatctername.server.ini file scroll down to your list of blockedspellID1=-1, and insert they number for the spells you want to block. for pets its blockpetspellID1=-1. you can find spell ID on lucy just look up the the line on the lucy address such as

I blocked out Rods of mystical transvergance quick for my War (id for that is 2538 in case anyone needs it) just make sure you are completly out of eq when you do it and that you repatch.
