PoR NDA has been lifted, as a beta tester, I can tell you a couple of tidbits:
- the trade skillers will love the new Tradeskill Trophies
- the new zone Arcstone is probably the best Zone in the game, a breathtakingly beautiful zone with well thought out mob progression, for groups 60-70. (loot was not yet in)
- You will get lost in the new Freeport. Get the first map that comes out from eqtoolbox.
- There are new solo tasks that take a while to complete which give relatively great armor as a reward.
- You won't be blown away by the traps system, think of it as a new discpline for some classes, which may or may not prove very useful down the road.
- The new all war zone Devastation, in which you spawn in zone when you die with gear, you will either love it or hate it, I expect many people to be addicted, others to run screaming at the offer of a group there. I have felt both while being there.
- Spheres of influence and destructable terrain I did not get much experience with. Destructble terrain is limtied to certiain zones.
- There are new monster missions, icluding ones in progression that you have to complete one before the next, including an epic MM at the end.

What of AA's? Will they be able to be bought through the normal means? Are there many per class?

From what I've seen over at the necro boards, there are no new purchaseable AAs, but there may be quested AAs like in the DoN progressions.

There are also a few new spells for the spell casting classes.

All I know about is from necros...a ****-poor "upgrade" to Mindwrack, a new lich that boasts....a red skelly model Smiley: rolleyes, and some kind of Aura that increases spell damage, I believe.

New PoR monk discs copied from the Monkly Business forums:

Quote:
Heel of Kanjii = replacement for Rapid Kicks (level 70 disc)

it is a reduced timer + accuracy mod for FK + a damage mod for FK

1: Reduce Skill Timer(7)
1: Increase Flying Kick Damage Modifier by 30%
2: Increase Chance to Hit by 50% with Flying Kick
900 second recast
Same Timer as Rapid Kick
80 Endurance Upkeep

Master's Aura

10% increased chance to riposte/block/parry group AE, works just like bardsong, as long as everyone in group is in range they get the effect. The effect lasts 15-30 minutes (i cant remember) and you cannot click it off like bardsong, you have to open your "aura" window and right click and remove it. it also stays up during a zone.

costs 200 endurance and can be pretty much casted again instantly, this is group only not ae.

I did not do a lot of testing and I guess I thought this was just for testing purposes. It was kind of wild to die and respawn some random place in the zone with all your gear. Also there is not exit you have to use a gate potion. On one wipe seems like our group ending up all over the zone and with no maps it was kind of interesting to find each other. Since I was not worried about exp I did not notice if I lost exp or not? What about a rez?

There's a bit about it here.
(Look for the paragraph that's a little past half way on the page, starting with "Devastation is tuned for".)

Before I get in game can someone tell me if you can get into expansion safely (like into the merchant area of Coriathus Creep)? And where do you enter from?
