Can the Warhorse be your FIRST horse?Follow

#1 Feb 22 2006 at 7:58 AM Rating: Decent
The question that kept being raised during in-game conversations on the 21st was about WHO GETS the warhorse (and no, I wasn't the only one to raise it!).

Sony had mixxed messages out. In its promos, it indicated that buyers of the retail version got the horse, but in its update message, it seems to indicate that you need to turn in a horse to get the warhorse.

Can anyone clarify, please?

Many thanks,
BV

Those who buy the retail version ("box") will get to /claim the war horse.

You will be able to turn in your existing horse (that may be faster than the standard war horse) and sort of "combine" it with the war horse, so you get a cool looking, fast war horse.

You get the warhorse with the boxed version, type in /claim 9 to claim it, you will get what looks like a bridle and you can summon your warhorse with it, you still have your old bridle if you already had a horse and it still sommoms.

You can combine the new bridle with the old one you had to make a faster warhorse( can be seperated too).

To do the combine go to the bazaar atables and hail Kyle .. he will have you go get the container for the combine in the second stable on the left.. you can use this device to both combine and also to later remove the new warhorse bridle from your original mount.

So this actually means that if let's say in 3 months time I have 60K to spare for a fast horse I could actually un-aug (to give it a name) my 9K horse from warhorse and re-aug it to Warhorse and get a fast version?

How/when do you get to select a color? I wonder how long you have to buy a faster horse and upgrade.
