Hi I have been playing for about a week now and have a question.I went to log on today and had to download a small patch and now i can not log on are tehy doing the patch now?

When I left home about an hour ago they were still patching. It said a 3 hour patch ending at 7:00AM PST but they are NEVER on time.

The servers are still down...this means the scheduled 3 hour patch is going to hit closer to 5 hours or more.

Ok so i downloaded a small patch and it still says something about them doing a patch and it is past 7pst.So they are just running later i guess ok thank you for the reply
rule of thumb whatever time they give as an ETA - double it and it will be closer to the actual time it takes.

I think the problem is, SONY says estimated down time, and we players think that is set in stone. With the Guild Bank issues and a few other problems since the new expansion went live, this will happen until the new issues are resolved.

I think the problem is, SONY says estimated down time, and we players think that is set in stone. With the Guild Bank issues and a few other problems since the new expansion went live, this will happen until the new issues are resolved. They will give us an estimated down time and it will probably go over this time quite often.

So we have about another 2 to 3 hours then im guessing?These patches in this game really suck lol.
Demarcus, don't get the wrong impression though. in my opinion they usually handle it well. granted, these emergency patches su'ck. but, when there is nothing to be done (i.e. no anniversary or roll back 
) the servers are up for weeks/months straight without a minute downtime.
