I was wondering where I could find info on Augments for my equipment. I have all expansions except for PoR which I don't entend to buy. If someone could give some info on how to get these Augs, are they player made, purchased,looted or quested for? I have a couple of LDoN Augs, but compared to what I've seen they are crap.

Well the Equipment search can filter for augs, but you may not be able to use it fully without premium membership here.
Quick rundown...LDoN adventures drop augs useable in most gear, but like you said they're a bit lacking. You can buy augs with adventure points, but they'll usually only fit in LDoN-bought gear. Same with DoN; crystal-bought augs fit in crystal-bought (or crafted) gear. OoW zones drop augs which will fit in most gear, and can be cut for better stats, and combined for more effects.

A "poor mans search" might be to look up Tatsujiro the Serene in Lavastorm zone. He is the DoN merchant in the "good" camp. It should show all the DoN augments available.

Ok, so I have done some looking around. It appears that unless I am a lvl 60+ with a full group and a couple hours to kill, this is not a possability for me. Is that correct, or are there single missions that take maybe an hour to do? I am a very casual player with generally less than a 2 hour stretch at any given time to play. I am lucky if I can get 10 hours in a week.

You can always try the bazzar. Augs sold there all the time.

You can also buy DoN Crystals in the bazaar if you're not able to do any of the missions to get them. As to whether any of the missions are soloable, I'm not sure. My main is 57 (after a year playing her - casual gamer like you hehe) and I haven't started any DoN missions yet, even the faction tasks. Good luck! 
A relatively easy aug to get, if you dont have it yet, is the Dull Stone of Sorrow. Pretty easy camp in DS just north of the PoD.

Crystals are obtained through DoN missions, which are generally done by groups 50+ (difficulty will scale the same way as LDoN). Solo tasks are for faction only. You need to be very high level to manage a DoN mission solo for crystals.
Radiant crystals are the reward for "good" missions and Ebon crystals are from the "evil" missions, though the good and evil gear are the same, and players can buy/sell/trade crystals.
