I've wondered if those messages are meant to be do-able while solo. I bet you could subtract about 3-5 levels if you take a group to those places.

also, those lvls are for twinked characters only. I tried to duo with a Necro (both of us untwinked) at lvl 38 in CoM. we got handed our rear ends...

I tend to stay below those when soloing and if not fully twinked would need probably more than a duo. However, my shammy/cleric duo(low 20's) is now pummeling snowcougars in Iceclad for the bonus xp. They are still Red, Yellow and White at 27. Just stay by the dock with a hotkey for the translocator.
I just laughed when my SK got that message at 46 about how Solusek's Eye will challenge me. Classic.
I dont know if i would trust these. At level 12, the recommend zone is Najena? I really have no clue why however
Oddly enough, everytime I get one of these messages I'm already soloing in the zone it's recommending I go visit. Is it just me?

not really. A full group or half group if its a holy trinity of untwinked characters could handle any of these spots.

Not just you, I was soloing my druid in Dreadlands when I dinged and got the Great Divide message. I had solo'd GD for most of my 30's.
One would guess that SOE is trying to get players to spread out into different zones than the 'norm', but with the smaller population these days if you want/need to group you have to go where the peeps are.

Believe me or not, but that is the zone I was planning to hunt in next! Some drops for BL armor quests in there...
