I was told of this quest and went to the stables to check it out. It is away to uprgrade your horse with armor barding. Completed the quest, but have no idea where to get or how to get armor barding.
The quest is very simple, but it seems SoE powers to be decided that they would not give out any info on this one item.

I'd guess you'd turn your Warhorse into one of the NPC's, who will give you the Armor Barding in exchange? *Shrugs* Never did it.

get your barding from /claim 9 (you only get it if you baught the box)
Get your bridle from your old horse
Do the quest to get the combine container. Place both bridle and barding into combine and hit combine.

The only problem is the book does not tell you where to get the armor barding to combine with your reins to up-grade your horse. I checked all of the stable hands to see if they had the armor barding but no luck.

Right, but if you hover over the "bridle" you got when you did the /claim with PoR you will see it is barding. You put that bridle and a normal bridle from a horse you already own in that oscillator you stole and hit combine it "puts" the barding on your horse.
Admittedly, if you click on the barding to summon a horse you do get a horse, but he's only equivalent to the cheap brown horse....or you can click on your old bridle and get that horse...

Ok I am a paladin.. I now can get a warhorse, a holy steed or a unicorn ( I paid the 9 AA's )... I have the ornate barding and the oscillator, but no clue HOW to get the barding onto either my holy steed or valiant steed ( unicorn) ... any ideas??
