Thinking about starting game

Hi I recently quit World of Warcraft because I wanted to try something new and I was wondering if someone could tell me a little about everquest and if it compares to WoW in any way. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Krump, there are lots of threads about changes in everquest, if you can use the search feature.
Lots of folks go from and comeback to EQ as it always has something for everyone.
Perhaps if you would be more detailed about why you left WOW others could inform you more.

also, EQ is more serious than WOW. You have to learn to play your toon as quickly as possible. unlike WOW where you can get away with alot of things.

EQ is more group oriented. So you have to be mindful of the group dynamics in norrath.
