How on earth do I use an item? Says "USE either the pouch or the phial to make the finished potion. Cannot finish this quest. Why is this so difficult to figure out? Clicking E on the keyboard does not work or anything else I tried. Has anyone ever finished this quest. HELP!!!

Drag one of the items to your quick bar. Hit USE item then click the item on your bar.

Thanks for the reply. There is nothing that says USE item. The E key is for this command, but I tried what you said and it still doesn't work. Thanks anyways.
do you have both items in your inventory? that could also be the problem.
check to make sure noone changed your E key command (keyboard config at chr selection screen, or keyboard commands from in game)

I have found that after placing the icon/item on the hot bar you must hit 'e' and then the corresponding 'number' for the slot on the hot bar. I too was unable to use a mouse click to use the item/icon.
the key F4 is the key you press for use after you put it on the hotbar.

Can you not also right-click on the item and then type /use ? This is how you operate all the beginner stuff, and a few other quest items I have run into....

Another question about this quest: Did they change the mob levels? I just tried this at level 11, but the wind wisps are a grape con. I know they just moved the mob levels around in all the zones, so I wonder if they overlooked this quest.
