Hi I havn't even bought the game yet but I was wondering what race and class would be the best. I was thinking about a wizard as a class (at least I think that it right) but I don't know what race I want to be. Which is best: half ogre, briton, or Avalonian. And should I choose path of fire,earth,or ice? I was thinking about fire just because I like fire lol. Anyway what should I choose. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have a 42 fire wizard. I chose briton. I went all fire, and after 40 I started dumping all my extra skill points into Earth. A Briton, or Avalonian would be your best bet. Go ice if you like to group but be prepared to not be able to solo until later. Go fire if you like to solo. Earth used to rock, but its been nerfed.

I think Avalonians make the best wizards. I have a 50 wizard who has been both fire and then ice.

Fire wizards do a lot of damage at long range, like a cannon. Ice wizards do damage around themselves close in, and so they have to stand in the middle of things. (PBAOE) If you like to group then go ice wizard. Ice wizards don't solo very well.

If you like to do a lot of damage from range and maybe solo, then go with the Fire...
