Anyone Playing Hib/Lancelot?Follow

#1 Jul 16 2004 at 6:34 AM Rating: Decent
Hi

I'm Hoon, just came over from the UK to see how the great game of DAoC is played over here. Loving it so far, plenty of new players starting as far as I could see, much more than on my home server of Prydwen anyway. Plus, there are gfreater numbers playing Lancelot on quiet-time than there are Peak-Time on Prydwen

I'd really like to get an xp group together, so, if anyone plays Hibernia on the Lancelot server, please post a Character name here and we can try and hook up over the weekend

I have a level 50 on the Prydwen server so am not a n00b, and am having fun playing caster classes atm. My timezone is GMT +1 at the moment (due to Daylight Savings etc) but regularly play till 4AM so have some chance of catching even you West-Coast guys

hope to see you all soon, please post below if you'd like to xp at all.
cheers

Hiya Hoon,
I have a few toons on Lan/Hib...

Willim - 50 hero
Carpathias - 44 bard
Willoes - 36 valewalker

I am a member of the Dragon Maw guild... one of the first 10 guilds sanctioned on Lan/Hib :) Although the guild branched out to yet another online game (SWG) and our DAoC membership has dwindled to a handfull. We are presently rebuilding our membership, but this is a slow process since we are so particular about who we honor with membership. We are a guild founded on the main principles of 'Honor' and 'Loyalty' some 9 years ago, and have been actively gaming since. We currently have 4 factions in 3 different games and are already discussing our expansion into the upcomming 'WoW'.

If you are in-game and need assistance just "/who maw" and if any of us are on, we will be more than happy to assist you.

I hope that you find your 'Lan/Hib' experience both challenging and rewarding, and I look forward to seeing you around Hibernia.

/bow

Hi Willim

Should have replied sooner but I've been busy trying to level little Hoonius. Haven't seen many Dragon Maw online, and the Hibernian Shadows has been very quiet also. Will keep tyring to contact you. Maybe it's my time of day, though have been seeing /who counts of 680+, which is an amazing amount of players compared to the peak 350 we have on prydwen

Having a nigtmare trying to find groups atm, level 13 is devoid of characters and the BG's are still as empty as ever. Badly need to hit 40 so I can continue with my love of Atlantis but that's a long way off at this time. maybe grouping gets easier or i can find a PL opportunity to hit 20, then the first of the dungeons opens up to me level-wise. Soloing sux big time

EDIT : Rolled a Sylvan Druid on a 2nd account so roaming around Domnnan atm, able to do reds and stuff easily with the heals and there's plenty of stuff to kill down there, then i can move on to Caillte when i'm done, SI is very good for xp.
