use the character builder on daoc.catacombs.com to help you as you level... you can input your level and play around with your spec points to see where you should actually be spending them in game at each level. Just out of curiousity, what level are you now, and what spec are you aiming for?

Thanks for the tip. She's level 28 and as for my final spec, I was planning on keeping LB to level and stop stealth at 35 or so and start speccing in sheild. I figure in RvR her strength will be her ranged attack but I was thinking I should start speccing more in sheild and slash now to help her solo. Right now she's horrible as soloing *grins* I'll check out that site.

Yeah, it kinda depends on what you want to accomplish. My scout is full sniper spec with 50 LB, 42 shield, 38 stealth and whatever else in thrust. My understanding is that stealth above 50 doesn't matter, but i don't know if i believe that, simply because i duo with another scout who's stealth is 35, and i still move faster than him. both of us have + to stealth in our templates that makes us above 50, but mine is higher. It's not alot, but every little bit helps, when you're trying to avoid the assassin zerg.

Whether you believe it or not, guy, it's still true. Mythic has stated in many different past grab bags that having over 50 effective stealth does nothing for you. 38 stealth is too high too, in my opinion, because you'll have 50 effective stealth at RR2, and it's not that hard to get RR3. That's why most stealthers have their stealth at 35, because RR5 is when your clamped DPS goes up to 16.5 (thus the reason why some ppl refer to their characters as level 51 after RR5), and it's not all that hard to hit RR5.

Your buddy with 35 stealth, what RR is he? If he's not at least RR5, then yes, you probably do walk around faster than he does because he can't hit 50 stealth yet.

You're wasting a lot of spec points that could be put into upping your thrust damage a tad higher. My advice would be to find a career respec stone and use it. Bring your stealth down, you'll thank me later.
