I'm backFollow

I played DAoC a few years ago and really enjoyed it, but the XP grind really got to me around level 42-43, so I went and played other things. Well, I'm back. My fiance also is wanting to play, but she has never played a game like this before. We will both be in the same room. I would like to play two classes that compliment each other well, i.e. priest/warrior. We will be playing Hib, as there are a couple people I know that are hib on the server we plan on playing on.

What classes would you guys recommend for a total newb and a veteran who hasn't played in a long time. Please don't use a bunch of "lingo", as I don't know all the lingo anymore ;)

Me and my wife both play like you and your wife will be playing. We had very much success with a Shield Hero and Enchantress. Good Luck!

Mana Enchanter for the vet, Mana Mentalist for the support. Is easy to level, self supportive, strong enough to kill about anything you come to and when you are more seasoned and lvl 50, grab a nurture druid to buff the pet and pull a room of 20 reds at one time. Is definitely exciting. Mana mentalist can cast power regen spell (referred to as "crack") and can also cast a Heal over Time (HoT) and a Damage over Time (DoT) and both spells have a timed tick. HoT doesn't cause the caster to get attacked like a normal heal spell does.
