Beta has begun!!!!Follow

Yes this isn't another one of those threads sorry.

My questions stems back from V1. Bought the collectors edition which had an additional code to allow someone else to get in the game. Being it was never used, could I give this code to my friend who is thinking about getting into the game so that he can get into V2 and d/l the client after the beta test and it goes live?

Haven't been around lately due to RL issues and such but has there been anything else about the d/l of ARR for V1 users who had registered the game? Know it was stated that we could download it for free. Going to assume we will find out more as the Beta phase progress, was just wondering if there was anything I may of missed due to being away for quite some time.

I know the codes can be used for when ARR launches, but I'm not sure if they will unlock the XIV options in the SE account management system before the game goes live though.

I believe phase 4 is open beta so they wouldn't even need to be an existing player, and you can still apply to try to get in before Phase 4 at any rate.

I guess I would keep checking the SE management system and see when things change there, at some point they should be able to enter the buddy pass and get rolling, but right now I'm pretty sure everything is locked down.
