Concerning the jump animationFollow

One of the many little details of WoW are the different jumping animations for each race. Some have their own little style that happens randomly. For example, the agile Night Elves will sometimes do a front flip, the Blood Elves randomly do a twirl. It's one of the little things I enjoyed about some of my characters. I wonder if perhaps SE would do something similar for the smaller, more agile races such as the miquote and the lalafel.

Obviously not game breaking, just bored and didn't get in to the process of which we may not speak of.

That would be cool.

Of course, I wish there was a way to add an animation station to the game so that for different actions you can create your own unique character movements. (Like make a custom casting movement when you cast spells, or the way you hold and swing a weapon or shoot a bow. Similar to how in FFVIII, everyone had their own casting animations) But I don't know how such a thing could be implemented, and also I could foresee a lot of ridiculous animations, so it's probably better that it stays outside of the realm of possibilities.

I'm content with just having jumping all together, don't care how it looks. Nothing worse then being stopped in your tracks when you come up on a small pebble and stops you you in your tracks. Pebble 1 vs You 0

Not that I'm bashing your idea, just my thoughts on it.

Totally, I think even the nay-sayers will be pleasantly surprised at the dynamic jumping adds to any game. Now if they could just get around to swimming... ;)

On a side note; God damn this anticipation.. I've lost all interest in all other games because I have ARR on the brain!

Jumping can add a nice dynamic to a game, I agree. It's the weightless, 6-feet-in-the-air, back-to-back acrobatic spamming of most MMORPGs that I don't like.

I can say this about many game features, and jumping is one of them: I would have liked it if it were implemented more like Dark Souls: useful, realistic-looking, and bearing a slight recast.
