Hello and welcome to FFXIV Zam's first ever Monthly screenshot thread. Starting this a bit early as I'll likely be preoccupied over the weekend.

Valentiones days is coming, and last year-- it was a disaster! Story after story of love gone sour and bitter. Let's hope this season is happier!

So for the obvious screenshot collection this month, we're going to go with the simple theme of "What is Love?" Is it suffering through the worst of things and remaining loyal? The small sharing of happiness? All of these above? What does it mean for you in Eorzea? Be as crazy or as simple as you'd like for this one. No need for one entry only, let's have some fun!

So, my husband doesn't play MMOs. (He does play some games, usually dating sims, and currently he is a dork and translating Dengenki Bunko Fighting Climax from the original Japanese.)

I got his permission to create a retainer the way he wanted, so he could have an in game avatar with me in some fashion. This retainer is now parked outside our company house so everyone can see him. I can't embrace him or do too much interaction, but if I click on him I get this "look deep into your eyes" setup that you see here.

(This is an accurate portrayl of our height differences in real life. He is super tall and skinny. I'm short and fat. We're salt and pepper shakers.)

I've actually tried this before. I get some an error that won't let me open the files on my computer. I had been trying to upload pictures to my FC website.

I'll toy around with it tonight after work.

I could see that emote being exploited for tawdry entertainment.
