I was always told that the only bad questions was the one you done ask so here goes.
1. How to I use the chat window, It has been a long time since I have played EQ and I am 57 yrs' old and have forgotten lol. I have a lvl 35 Zerker and still can't chat or don't know how lol
2. Where can I find the Mercenaries and how much do they cost on EQ2. Can you pay with SC or do you have to have plat?
I am on the Freeport server and I have truely enjoyed playing again. Thank you in advance for anyone that can help me.

Mercenaries (EQ2) here's our Merc guide. The common ones are in Freeport and Qeynos, hanging about in bars.

To answer the other part of #2, no, you can't pay with SC. Maybe at some point we'll get to see something like Bayle Marks on EQ2. :)

I made a mistake the other day. When I found out I needed to purchase the Age of Discovery expansion to be able to purchase mercenaries I only had like 1,300 in SC. So thinking I needed to get more SC cash I purchased $50.00 worth or 5,000. Well anyway I then went and purchased the expansion thinking that the money was going to come out of my SC funds but it didn't it came out of my credit card which was on file. I was wondering if I could give back the 5,000 SC funds and get a credit to my credit card? Who would I contact to see if that is possible or am I stuck with the SC cash?

2. Click on "view your service history"
3. Login to your account
4. Click on "Open a support ticket"
There you can ask whether or not it's possible for them to do it. I'm honestly not sure if they will, but good luck!
