Self explanatory. I know in the past I've sent PMs to newer players telling them to look me up in game. I'm sure I have some of you saved to my addressbook, but I don't really know your Alla name. I have 3 toons but only really active on 2 of them.

Helvyn - Caldari - PvE toon. My main do everything toon. I mine, run missions, some minor PvP and industrial stuff.

Sedao - Gallente - PvP toon. I made this guy specifically for PvP combat. His skills are lacking now since I play my main more, and you can only skill one toon at a time. At some point in the future I will probably break this guy off so I can train 2 toons at the same time.

Anyways, look me up if you need help, and I won't be afraid to look others up who have much more play time than I.

Hi there, I play EVE every day and am a member of Tides of Silence Corps in the Hydra Alliance. I run two accounts and my toons are Calm Breeze and India51A, feel free to add me to your address book and shout me in game some time. Fly safe. :)

Playing again after a long break

Sharaka - Mission runner/
Miner (mined my first Tempest apart from the Zyd and MegaSmiley: smile )

Sharala - Manufacturer
Haulier
Slightly retired

Personally I find in-game communication a mess. It isn't anything like as simple or straightforward as WoW or EQ. Thereagain you don't get gold-spammed every 5 minutes!

The best way would probably be to create an "Allakhazam channel" - rather like the old inter-server FOS channel in the good old days Smiley: smile

I use XFire. It's a great cross-game chat program. It also keeps track of your hours played.

i find the hardest thing in Eve, is to find a Corp that isnt going to fold 3 or 4 months down the line, i've really given up on trying to find a corp from listening to the Recruitment channel, it really is like bobbing for apples in a barrel of manure, loads of recruitment spam, and when you check the guy out, his corp has like 2 people in it.
i started off as a miner, it was easy money, at first anyway, even specialised up to using exhumers, to the point where i now mine in a Hulk, back then though my only real combat skills were with drones. i soon found the lure of bigger ships though, from battlecruisers to battleships, love the tempest, not sure about the maelstrom though. currently having a hard choice, dreadnought or carrier? can't really afford to do both so i have to choose one, i like the idea of the dreadnoughts, but feel that carriers are probably better, if anyone has advice on those, preferably after having used them, i'd really appreciate it :D

I played EVE for two years as a character named Domicron who was in a pretty large 0.0 sec mining corporation out in Syndicate space. I had retired that character last summer and have been paying to keep the character alive up until a month ago when I tranfered all the funds and created a new character. Domicron has since been deactivated and I'm in the process of reactivating that old account to have him back online. I will also be submitting an app to my current character's corp.

This new character is strictly PvP/PvE. His name is Simon Payne and he's with the AEGIS LEGION [AGIS] corp. This new character is only a month old and already has 1 mil SP in Spaship Command and over 1 mil SP in Gunnery and Missile Launching. I will be training up for industrial ships soon so I can take care of some hauling of fuel for the corp POS.

I have a lot of experience in EVE, especially in striping mining and hauling.
Trying to expand my horizons with a bit of PvP and PvE, though so I can be a jack-of-all-trades.

Please do not hesitate to message me in game or on the boards here on Allakhazam.com if you have any questions as I'll do my best to answer them.

I had a look at XFire (found out my kids use it! Smiley: rolleyes)

The trouble is its TOO all-embracing. I'm not sure I want anyone to know which game I'm playing if I'm not on the one they know me from. (Although I assume you'd have to register the identities for each game in some way?). And how does it cope if I'm playing WoW while mining in EVE?

What I was meaning is that EVE has player created comm channels (antipirate etc) so it would be easy enough to create an Allakhazam channel that we could open and chat through and people who read here could join or not as they wished. I may have to RTFM myself Smiley: smile

i play this game, am still a director in one of Eve's oldest corp's. Have 3 chars at 48M+ sp's and a family of trade alts.

I often post criticizing remarks about CCP and get into trouble for it. Seen the game evolve from a great concept into favoritism towards certain older players (not especially BoB perse), widespread internal corruption, bad company -> customer communications.

Lately i have seen an very very small ray of light but due to 4+ years of experience with bugs being exploited by other parties, reporting them and getting zero response and also on stuff like personal attacks on the forums which were running rampant i am currently still ingame with 92% hate - 8 % indifference. Only thing that keeps me going is my love for my corpmates.

I'm cancelling my 3 accounts and going to run them on ISK bought GTC's so i don't feel like im paying CCP. Clearly they do not deserve my money.

I just got into EVE about 2 months ago (it took about 6 years to shake EQ... so weird). Loving it so far. Go by Modrak Vseth in EVE. I'm currently the youngest player ever accepted to Veto and I'm hoping I can live up to their expectations. :)

Verone is a kool guy, well respected and knowledable about all things ingame, not perse pvp.
