Most of the reviews for this game make it seem like a bit of a flop. Shame since it kind of piqued my interest when I first heard about it. Has Will Wright lost the touch?

Ummmm....

The original Sim City was awesome as was Sim Ant and Sim Farm. The Sims 2 is still a game that has lasting appeal. Look at how many non-gamers it drew in (as in 2 and the original). It was the Wii of its time.

Also, Will Wright appears to have outdone himself completely in Spore.

It's due out next month. Here are some gameplay videos:

You will be able to interact with other players. Not sure how that's going to work.

Sim City is the highest selling game of all time. Both Sim City and The Sims, while having too many expansions imo, have long lasting potential .

I have SimCity Societies and playing it was a lot of fun for me. I got a kick out of making one of those "1984" cities with Ministry of Thought buildings and re-education camps. Smiley: grin

I haven't played it lately; I've recently become addicted to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

You, madam/sir, are my new hero! I think Mr. Wright is on to something awesome! We'll be chatting with him at GDC, so if you have any questions you want asked, PM away!
