Codemasters Online and Turbine Inc announced today that this years Connect '08 event will be the staging area for a major worldwide unveiling for The Lord of the Rings Onlineâ„¢.

David Solari, Vice President and General Manager of Codemasters Online commented "Connect is shaping up to be a great event with some massive announcements. We’re extremely pleased Turbine has agreed to make the trip out to Europe to share the worldwide exclusive announcement we’ve lined up for The Lord of the Rings Online. I guarantee this is going to get the community buzzing".

Taking place on March 14th / 15th, Connect 2008 is Codemasters Online’s premier gaming event spanning all of Codemasters Online’s gaming titles including The Lord of the Rings Online™

Will they just announce details of Book 13? Hmmm.

Let the random speculation begin!

If anyone wants to post any 'original' questions to the Turbine Devs, I'm meeting them tomorrow morning, so please post before 07:00 GMT (Midnight today PST, 03:00 EST)

Depending how long I can snag 'em for, I'll try to ask your quessies.

Very cool. Looks like this is as good a time to start the game back up, as ever! I am really excited to play LOTRO again! Just waiting on my new computer at this point, so I can play the game with some good graphics.

So, any ideas on how they will reconcile the fellowship being in Lothlorien, while they are right now located in Rivendell? They can't very well just move them, since they are quest givers, especially since there is the whole quest line of reforging Narsil for Aragorn. Perhaps they will all be gathered into an instanced chamber where you cannot get into after completing certain quests, like a couple of the other areas?

I'm guessing it's an instance.

JS said that on arriving in Lorien, Lady Galadriel will personally bestow gifts upon you. Sounds like a Quest-related instance.
