How many Brawl Challenges do you have left?Follow

I've only got like around 20 (plus or minus two)

They are all easy to complete for the most part.

I have the hours of brawl left, all songs, 75 hidden songs, beat allstar mode with 10, and all characters, beat it on very hard.

The only really tough one I have left is Boss Mode on Intense. I beat the other difficulty levels already. You can complete the challenge with co-op. My friend and I have just been going two charizards and double rock smashing.

Also we managed to get roughly 51,000 feet total with all characters for the home run thing. Our longest co-op is around 4600 feet and our longest single is around 2300-2500 I believe. Anyone else come close to our distances?

Post your accomplishments and challenges you have left!

17 left, still all my hammers. Most are the completion challenges, and I still have intense and very hard boss battles to do.

Thanks for the information about coop boss battles, that will make it much easier.

Haven't messed with Boss Battles much yet, bout halfway thru the all-star lineup, and some of the other ones mentioned. Haven't done anything on co-op tho, so that should make things much easier, may have to do it tomorrow night... it's my friends 21st b-day and my room is the official get drunk and play brawl room for the evening. Smiley: grin

Finished it, though I had to tone down the difficulty to easy for the last challenge.

OHHHH, you're talking about the events.

This thread is not about that, it's about the challenges (the ones where you get a trophy or stage or CD or something when you complete a certain objective, i.e. beating Boss Battles on Intense, or clearing target test with all characters, etc.). They can be found in the vault.

I've got about 5-7 to go.

Intense and Very Hard boss battles, all final smash trophies, and the tedious ones like 100 hours of brawls/collect all songs.

I used my hammers on the 10 enemies in cruel brawl and stuff like that. Aside from the "complete boss battles" on intense i'm positive that I can get the rest of them. I'm psyched right now because I've been stumped on the "collect all character" trophies, because I didn't get it when I beat classic with everyone. Went back and did with pokemon trainer and shiek, but forgot about zero suit. Now I know i need zero suit so I can get it yay!

Exactly what my plan is as soon as I can get someone. Even if you lose when either one of you dies, the bosses should die twice as fast, hopefully killing Tabuu before that stupid angel wing thing. Provided that you can get past meta-ridley, most of the other ones don't hand out cheap kills.

Alrighty then, since people seem to be having a tough time with the Boss Mode, I'll provide some guidance.

It took my friend and I roughly 25ish fights to beat Very Hard mode. If one of you dies, you fail.

Some key things are to see who you are fighting next. There are 3 bosses that are specifically easy. The two hands and Galleon are pretty much jokes.

When fighting the plant boss both of you should focus on the same cage. My friend and I always attack the right cage.

The knights on wheels don't give us trouble but we can't manage to kill them without taking a good 40% damage each.

Rayquaza becomes surprisingly annoying because of his flying back and fourth across the screen. With two people, if he hits the front one he slows down just enough to hit the second one. This is because the second persons shield roll goes too early. This causes problems with us.

Porky is pretty easy and my advice is to have a charizard on his left and right sides. This avoids his leg needle type attack. Also watch out for his walking bombs and laser because they can hurt you after he is dead.

The only problem Meta-ridley gives is is when he hangs on the end of the ship and pulls it down while breathing fire balls. Charizard is a rather slow flier and this attack is un predictable. He will either shoot 2 or 3 so it is hard to judge when to shield roll. Usually if you don't shield roll and just hold shield then you will become dazed because one fireball depletes your shield completely.

Now for tabuu. His wing attack is probably one of his easiest attacks to dodge. Just ground dodge it. Hold shield and press down on the joystick with each blast wave. Ground dodging is MUCH faster than shield rolling to the right or left. The recovery is also much greater. Tabuu's main attacks that give us trouble are when he shoots the chain and hooks someone and when that golden box thing grabs someone and slams them. Both of those atttacks are rather hard to avoid and we haven't quite figured out the best way to doge them.

We have only done intense about 6 or 7 times but have managed to get to around 5-6 boss kills. The damage output of the bosses goes drastically up and I don't look forward ot fighting tabuu. He has much more health and charizards rock smash is simply difficult to hit him with. This is because he is frequently a double jumps distance up in the air.

When we beat it on Intense in the next couple days, I'll write down any new strategies we come up with.

I agree with the two hands, but I don't think Galleon's that easy, as some of his attacks are very difficult to dodge. The Ridleys on the other hand have very easily dodgeable attacks, especially the regular Ridley. Meta Ridley's fireball attack is also very easy to dodge if you just stay on the right side of the ship while he fires; they go right over you, and you won't die if you just jump at the end.

Except if it were baby photos, it would be like looking at before and afters of Michael Jackson. Only instead of turning into a white guy, he changes into a chick!

I have about 12 challenges left now and 1 hammer. A couple of the challenges are collect all songs and get 75 hidden songs.

The thing is i have 90% of subspace emissary complete and don't really feel like going back and doing the levels in hopes of finding random music i've missed.

I think i'm gonna end up using my last hammer on the collect all songs. What do you guys think?

I haven't used a hammer yet because I don't know which ones are worth it... It's terrifying, actually. Although, I do have all 5 hammers. But we'll see... I'd like to get most of them done without a hammer.

Quick question... by using your hammer, do you fulfill the challenge requirement as well as complete the challenge itself? For instance, if you use one on the "collect all songs" challenge, do you get all of the songs?

Also, as for the boss battles if you're going it alone: use Fox. His laser chips away at life bars surprisingly fast, and the reflector can be a lifesaver. The wheel boss and Porky in particular become a cakewalk for me when I use him. Just sit back, laser, and roll / jump out of the way of any charging attack. His overall excellent speed and response time is great for avoiding Tabuu's multiple attacks, as well.

I didn't get 45k+ feet added to my home run contest when I unlocked the upper right square, so I seriously doubt that you would get the songs.

His laser does nothing to Rayquaza, but other than that, I prefer Fox as well.

God, maybe I just suck at target smash, but I finally got all those "complete target smash __ in under __ seconds" ones done! Yay me.

That was an insanely easy objective. Just do it with all characters while trying until you get at LEAST 1300 feet each. You should be quite close if not ok.
