beast loyalty gain?Follow

#1 Apr 12 2008 at 10:42 AM Rating: Decent
i am trying to figure out how to entertain, or gain loyalty from some pets... and i am talking about the ones who dont like combat, is there another way to lvl them up? how do i gain loyalty from them? if it is food, i think i will pass, but if it is something else, maybe. i havent found the complete list of possibilities for increasing pet happiness, unless it is only combat, food, or tricks. right now, i am having an issue with a huf dun, so if you know anything, that would be great!

another thing, if you do not mind, is how do i make a mutation? (ingredients?) what do i need for it, and what kinds are there? at least, ones discovered. thanks again! :)

well im only just learning beastmastery myself, but, based on the observations so far;

the type of food you feed your pet makes a difference, be sure to read the 'feedback' message after feeding pet, also, its not that pets dont like to fight, its just that they have a 'preferred' target, i have 2 pets on one char, one likes to kill humanoids, the other prefers to kill animals, if they attack anything else, they get annoyed, its a good idea to try 4 types of food, just to see which your pet prefers, you can usually tell what kind of food a pet will like, just by the animal type, big cats tend to like meat, whereas the reptillian ones can be a bit more picky about the type of meat only going for the stringy or fatty ones rather than cooked etc, its pretty much trial and error though.

i think for the mutation you need a decent valued lycase enzyme, and hydrolase enzyme, with a high percentage same colour enzyme to boost it... which means farming level 90 creatures to get the right enzymes, not to mention lots of foraging to find some decent lycase' generally i wouldnt bother with anything less than value of 8 or 9 lycase, the other thing is the genetic sample, the higher quality the better, 80 percent + as an absolute minimum i would have thought :D
