Ok, You're looking to grind up a crafter quicker. You have the first bit right. A structure crafter is the quickest but it is very resource hungry. So, if resources isn't a problem this is the way to do it. As previously said, the gungan head statues are the best provider of xp. So you grind away making them.
I have ground up several traders both pre CU, CU and NGE. I have searched back through countless pages of posts to find a post with my old crafting macro and will copy it below for you. Some people have reported that this macro doesn't work. I assure you that it has worked for me in the NGE. This will grind you up really quick. As I say in the quoted text below, you may have to twink the pause times. You also still have to double click the ingredients at the input screen.

I have tried several different things but find this grinds fastest. Use your generic crafting tool to make yourself 4 structure crafting tools. You want to grind Gungan head statues. This schematic does not require anything else except the resources. Set up a macro like the one below. I have posted this before so what I paste below has been cut and pasted from another entry.
Make sure that you have 4 crafting tools in the first 4 slots of your toolbar. Make sure that you name the macro 'Grind'.
You may have to play with the pause times depending on lag and on the crafting time for the item.
Before you start grinding, use the 4th tool in your toolbar to make one of what you are going to grind. This will then make the item your 'default item' for the session. Then type '/macro grind' and your going. An important tip is to just have the ingredients that you need for grinding in your inventory as the macro doesn't give you a lot of time to search through a multitude of ingredients.

For any other crafters out there who want to grind up quickly, grind up structures (this is the fastest) then go to a proffessions counsellor and respec to the trade that you want. You will not lose levels.
