I have trouble knowing what parts to put in my starship and would like some clarification on how to tell what parts are better than others. Specifically, I do not know whether I always want a higher or lower number in a certain statistic. For example, I would like to know if a higher shield recharge rate is better than a lower one, and other statistics of that nature and would greatly appreciate some help.

Shield regen--higher
Droid interface--lower
Capacitor charge--higher
Reactor output--higher
Reactor drain--lower
Energy per shot (weapon)--lower
That's all I can think of off the top of my head. If you want to know something specifically just ask.
