ok so i started as a spy but decided i like commando better. is their any way for me to transfer my credits or items from one character to another. ive tried opening mail and dragging item to attachment but nothing happens i dont even know why the attachment box is there...

Well the easiest option is for transfering credits is to tip your other character, just type /tip [name of other character] [amount of credits to transfer]
ie. transfering 1000 credits to a character named Fred...
/tip Fred 1000
There is a 5% bank fee for doing this though so you will need to calculate your transfer.
As far as items go the safest and easiest option is to have your new character place a small house and put the first character on the administrators list then have him drop the items in the house for the other guy.
Alternatively you can just respec your first character to a commando (the first respec is free) and you wont need to do any of the above.

You can attach a waypoint in a mail. That's why the attachment box is there.
