returning player, several questionsFollow

Well after listening to a friend for a year I decided to return and give the NGE another try. Yes I was a whiny beotch who was ticked off about having to grind the village only for it to be removed. So I left, took a break. Now I'v tried the game again, remembered why I played in the first place and subscribed all over again.

My main toons are on Intrepid though I started a new one on Bloodfin just to go through the tutorial and relearn a lot of commands.

So Toon 1 is a lvl 86 Jedi and the other is a lvl 45 Trader. When I played a few years ago, the toons had harvesters all over the galaxy (one of which was the veteran award). Yet all my waypoints are gone. Does that mean they went poof?

I seem to have forgotten how to fight. My jedi went to the clone vat after a fight with a lvl 50 npc. Is there a good low level jedi mission / quest I should try to re-learn combat?

Everytime I log into intrepid the population is pretty low, is that normal?

I'v got a house full of those jedi village resource crates that are no good for traders. Are there any value in those or should i trash em?

Is there a list somewhere of active guilds?

the best way to learn NGE combat is trial and error for hours. basicly you have a special and most of the time you want to use the highest level of that special.

The only time you would want to use a lower version is if its taking up too much action and you feel it would be better to do less dmg but retain more action. The case for this is if your trying to proc and just want to fire off a lower level fast cooling special in hopes of it procing. I

f your just trying to get the procedual effect theres no point in using a bunch of action to obtain the proc. Since you died to a level 50 go down to level 40 and then work your way up.

heres much timing to learn compared to preCU when timing and specials cooling down was not a factor then, only weapon speeds were, but now weapon speeds are all universal according to there type so the timing now is how well you know your specials and how long they take to cooldown.

Don't give up it takes hours with a leveled toon to learn NGE combat. It took me 3-5 hours I didnt start a new toon I learned on a level 80 back in Nov 05.

When your feelin bad *** take it up to level 80 and 90 mobs then take it to sliver chevron elites such as NS. You can always start a new toon if you want to learn that way but leveling in NGE is excruiciatingly slow compared to leveling in preCU.
