The Ring and Cape were items in the U.S. special edition, the Hope item was from the pre-order.

The candles were from a server crash, and turbine gave them to everyone to say they were sorry for the downtime.

I didn't get the special edition so I think it is the other way around, the hope item was the special edition and the ring and cape were the pre-order. I never got the hope item except when there was a hiccup and it was accidentally given to a new toon I created, it dissapeared about 3 days later, hehe.

I never new that about the candles, that must've been when I took my break, thanks for the info.

Yeah, brain fart, I for some reason equated special pricing with another shot at the founders deal.

The timing on this was perfect for me. I had just bought the game from my trial in January. I was thinking about getting the lifetime account at $299, but was debating it. Then this offer came out and I was sold on the $199 price.

$220 bucks beats the 700ish I spent playing FFXI for 3 years and 9 months.

Well, I said before that I wouldn't consider rejoining unless it was at the same Founder's prcing (if a game ain't worth $9.99 to me, it won't be worth $14.99 two months later). So I guess between this and the free play next week, I might fire up Jophiel the Captain again.

Forochel is pretty fun. The moose remind me of card-board cut-out animals you might find at a shooting gallery, which is kinda funny as I've found most LoTRO mob models to be pretty realistic.
