Anyone else play it? I can't help but think that somebody else who visits this site plays, or at least has played it.

I initially found it via Catt's free/trial MMO list... it's actually kinda fun.

Makes the grind in FFXI seem kinda easy... its fun in short bursts, but it is Korean so you will grind for hours at a time and not seem to get anywhere....

I played Lineage II once(back when it was new, on the official servers - they have supposedly made it easier to level in recent years)

But yea, it can't be much worse than that - can it?

Truthfully (they've doubled the experience rate) it's still pretty bad. At higher levels, it can take up to an hour using a Stamina Saver (stamina is something that doubles the amount of job points and xp you get per kill, a stamina saver prevents all stamina loss [which normally goes down when you kill] for one hour), it can take upwards of an hour or so just to level up once.

i play rappelz, my spell singer is 49, short of rank3 but i honestly don't care much about hitting any particular level. salamander's SS prices are in the million range, so **** that noise. until they add something other than DPs then i might get interested in it again.

FFXI has so much more things to do outside exp, but rappelz is just DP EXP DP SS DP EXP etc. and don't even get me started on the common pet farming, i seriously slaughtered a town's worth of yetis and not a single card drop (white named too)

Yeah, I've got a 52 battle summoner, 46 kahuna, and a 41 cleric. Pantera's prices are slightly better, but the best ones by far are on Tanda, due to the fact that it was released after the rupee sellers were taken care of and crap. And yeah, even on Pantera, there's not that much to do. I'm getting into a guild soon (hopefully) that is going to be doing some sieging, which should at least alleviate some of the grind boredom.
