this opens the doors to a VC release of earthbound, possibly mother 1, and maybe even a release of mother 3!(although I doubt it would be on the virtual console)

Own it on the SNES, very very good game.

One of my favorite RPGs, just for the fact you can save party members as they dwindle to their death. (and the fun explanation about rolling numbers) ATM machines, calling dad to save, etc.... ahhhh memories

Get back to me when they release 3. Who gives a **** about Earthbound. It's easy enough to find a SNES and copy of the game any day of the week. All I need to do is switch around some RF cables.

Maybe in superhappyrainbowfunland, but here in the real world, I can only find Earthbound on eBay, somewhere in the price range of $60+.


As for Mother3, this website is hacking the ROM of it and changing it over to english. They're ~~%60 done. I know, olde news is olde, but there are some people who don't know about this site yet.

OMFG! I love Earthbound. With my snes being ancient history this will be quite a treat. =-D. Yes it would be nice to see the other Mother games, but at the moment this is the only one I know and love. <3
