Ok here goes.
1. Go to a bazaar terminal.
2. Click on "Vendor Location"
3. Select "Entire Galaxy" in the Location Filter section.
4. Select "All" in the Object Type Filter section
5. Type "House Deed" into the Item Name Filter.
6. Press "Enter" or select "Refresh"
7. Select the house type you want from those on offer.
8. Right click on the house you want to buy and select "Waypoint to Vendor"
9. Go to the planet listed in the Location column with the house and activate the above waypoint to find the vendor.
10 Go to the way point and buy the house from the appropriate vendor.
That should cover it, I hope

yea do exactly what MontyB wrote
Actually you can just go to the bazaar terminal, open the "deed" page, and buy it right there at the terminal. You wont have to go to the vendor's location. Of course that is only if someone has one listed on the public bazaar terminal. And sadly most of those items are only found in Mos Eisley terminals. But sometimes on other public terminals. Of course the benefit of going to the vendor's location is they might have other stuff you want/need. And trust me, once you find a good vendor location write down that waypoint for future use because they are getting few and far between.
you can often find small houses for sale on the regular bazaar, they're often under 10,000 cr, which is a waste, because there are always guilds out there recruiting for their cities etc, and they tend to give the small houses as freebies to new citizens.
yea i joined a guild one time and they gave me a better gun then i had and a large size house. just to live in their city.
Can you put a house down anywhere? or what are the procedures for placing a house.
There are some areas that you cannot set a house up on. For example right outside of most of the major Starport cities. And some other areas where there may be some NPCs pertaining to a mission. And of course if the mountain is too steep, too high, too treed, etc. But basically you can set one almost anywhere. When you attempt to place it the grid will be red until it is ok to place it, then it turns yellow. I know thism is very general but i hope it helps! Shoot straight and ride hard!
