Anything change since the Spring? Anything I should know about?

I've really been thinking about coming back soon too. I was talking with some coworkers about the different MMO's we'd all played and the more I talked about Eve, the more I missed it.

Wow, I didn't realize how dead these forums were. Didn't look at the dates of the last posts until just now, guess I'm off to the o-boards!

Considering how many people play Eve, its a bit surprising this forum isnt more active?

the most notable changes i can think of, is the speed nerf, and how speed affects combat.

stacking mods doesnt work as well as it used to, and using MWD's now increases your sig radius by 500 percent, which means your far easier to hit, and missiles do more damage.
interceptors and frigates are probably the fastest things around now, have a speed fit Vaga that i've refitted to use an AB, which does around 1400 m/s, this reduces the amount of damage a missile does when it hits, and also makes you harder to hit with turrets, (fitting a tracking disruptor works wonders btw)

so, briefly, speed bonuses dont stack the same, some of the rigs have had their values/properties changed, sig radius and speed affect damage.

hope that helps...

I am once again coming back next month. I came back the last time, but I've been gone a while again.

IS there anything other than what's already been said that I should know about?

yes, it is a bit isnt it.... much like RA, lol.. they just lost some of their core systems - a combined ATLAS and Scorched Earth fight just lost them their RA Prime station - they'd held it for 3 years, now their struggling to evacuate assets.. hehe.. its amazing what you can do with 120 dreads and 200 battleships ;D

yes, i was there, the ship numbers are pretty much a guestimate.. lol for accurate figures are problematical, like i'd have to actually work it out, and for fleet ops of that size, i'd have to correlate too many kb km's for towers and stuff. Eve politics strikes again. Seems like the big Alliances are having a few problems, and its always nice to kill a few Goons ;D
