I asked you last night if you wanted me to Merchant anything!

Goal for tonight is to get to 21 and finish out my Gobball gear set if I can afford it. I also want to go get some pigs milk for this quest I was on but it takes forever to get to Porker Island or whatever it is called. This is the quest, 44,000 exp for completing the whole thing. http://dofuswiki.wikia.com/wiki/Wartella's_Teeth

My minor quibles are that Zapp's cost too much to use atm and I can't start Baking until I'm level 30 Farmer (only level 7 atm).

Also I guess I should say I made 6kk (kilo-kama's?).

As of this morning I still have 2 Gobball amulets +8 to Str and Int for 1,000k in my merchant but anyone that wants one can have it for half of that if they need it.

Gurb is leveling an alt and should be around 21 and maybe we can actually level together. As im sure you noticed last night, the xp is much much better in groups. We could go take on some serious ****.

I agree, I just have the urge to wander when I'm in that game. Last night I wandered 50+ squares before I realized I was in a zone where everything was level 160+. I also learned that you can totally bring along low levels and they will get exp. I was in a group of level 45's for two or three fights and I got well over 7k exp per fight. Other than my healing spell I was useless.

before you hit 20 you might want to fight your dopple, or even do the quest to fight the dopple of each class. That way you can at least be near the same level.

I have the urge to reroll Pandawa so that I can be the drunken brawler. If I can get through tonight without rerolling then I'll be ok, otherwise I'll be rerolling.

I just looked at the news article on this game earlier, and since there's a bunch of people here playing I'm going to go download the game and give it a try. I'll post character name later, I'll probably make either a Xelor or a Sadida.

we are all pretty low levels so you shouldnt feel left behind. Hell, the character im working on is only level 8 :(

I panicked just a tad when the game started out in French lol. I've forgotten most of the two years of college level French I learned, but at least I was able to figure out how to change the language to English easily.

I'm on the Z server, my character's name is Thelesis and she's a Xelor.

I was planning on running Icaram dunegon tonight on my level 12 Panada if you can get close to level 10 you can join us.

I got Farming to level 22 this morning so hopefully I'll be able to make bread soon.

Also, I might have found someone to make us Gobball head and cape so I'll probably have to go farm some mats.

You can leave Incraram to go to Astrub as F2P. I'm not sure where F2P ends but I know I was in the city while I was still F2P.

Okay, I added all you guys to my friends list. I'm still only level 5. The game is fun, but I haven't had much of a chance to play and the layout is kind of weird. I like the battle system, other than the fact that you aren't forced into combat and there aren't that many kill quests. If I'm not forced to kill things, I tend not to so I can get my quests done. I'm not sure how I feel about it just yet.

Things aggro at later levels. You'll also notice that the skeletons in Icaram will aggro if you accidentally touch them as you pass by.

I really like the combat system. I've been crafting like a fiend lately to be able to afford my Gobball helmet which I can't seem to find the mats to craft.

You should try and stay in Incarnum until you can't take it anymore as you can reset your stats and skills up to level 29, as in once you are level 30 no more free respecs also once are level 16 you can't return to Incarnum. If you want to still have access to a bank make a mule, basically a second account that you DB with for bank access. Lets you put points into Wis for faster leveling and SPs into attacks that you may not use as you continue to level with having to pay to change them.

Also on the 2.0 servers as most people are newish or not at the level cap, no one has hit level 200 on either 2.0 servers last time I checked the ladder, the economy is kind of weird. I'm on the A server and only recently has it been moving towards having more mid level gear and the basic stuff drop in price a bit.

My main is a level 44 Enu, full chance with a good Prespic set and Robber to fill in the other spots. Enu was not the original main but 120 base PP helps with drops so much I had to switch. Plus blowing stuff up from range and not taking damage helps when you can't buy bread to heal.

I have a 36 Agi Sac that is hurting for gear, first toon so didn't get the Boon Set before I left Incarnum, he will get a full Tofu Set soon to help him out when I can find a person to craft the hat and back.

I also have a level 28 Eni spec'd for heals in full Gob, focused on Int, that is so damn close to hitting 30 in farming so I can start to make some real damn money selling bread once I pick up Baking. Have the mats stored to blast up to the point where I can make Wholemeal Bread all ready.

A have a 25 Int Feca as well but she seems rather lackluster, not sure if it is equips, spec, level or class. I just use her for Alchemy and free Recall pots.

Other helpful hints. Everything is used for something, so only vendor blue weapons. You can sell to players but most wont use as they have durability unlike all other items. Also they sell for their (level+1)*100. I look for people selling say a level 23 blue sword for 2000 kama, buy it and sell for 400 profit baby. Sadly, I've been able to do that in an inn before... Regardless, the reason I say to hoard everything is that you or a friend will likely be able to use it to level a profession or to pool weird crap make stuff and smash it for a rune to mage your gear.

good advice, Horsemouth

I didn't realize these servers were so new, but yeah low level stuff is pretty expensive. And bread is ridiculously priced for the most part.

Doh, didn't realize that about the blue weapons. Then again on this server I've been able to sell most of my blue weapons for 2-4kk that would only sell for 1.5kk via vendor. I've probably broken even on it.

That's why I've been trying to get farmer up so that I can make us bread pretty easily. Money is hard to come by atm and basically the only way other than selling my drops is by selling wheat for 9 per. I've made enough to buy my Gobball and Adventure set basically. I'm going to start Baker tonight on my Panda so we can have some bread, KT. (also if anyone is looking for me I'm on Lockjaw now most of the time, Baelnic only farms now).

Staying up in Inc until level 30 would probably make me quit the game. I saw the free respecs up there, I wonder why they just don't extend that to people under level 20 or something.

Weird, I bought some for 20 each. I should have bought the whole stack of 100 instead of the 20 I bought.

Oh, i thought you said they were 20k for the 20. not that much of a difference i guess.

I'm still in the starter area and I've attempted the dungeon three times now, with two different parties and I've died all three times because the group didn't have enough people for the boss and no healer. I've now got a ton of drops in my bags but no idea of where I can sell this stuff.

you dont really need a healer for that dungeon. Need either enough people, or high enough leveled people though.

ETA: and the market system in the game, for the most part, is entirely player driven. If you vendor your materials you are looking at 1k each (k=kamas), whereas if you setup your shop and then log off in merchant mode you can sell them for actual market value.

The economy in this game is unique in my experience with MMOs. You become a shop and have to have your wares priced right, and be located in a place that will get travel, not only from all passersby, but people interested in what you are selling. Maps are limited to 6 vendors per map (map = a 'tile', or whats on your current screen).

You can also post your items in a NPC ran market, that works kinda like an auction house, but it only accepts items related to the shop.
