Anyone here use this service? I've been thinking about signing up and wanted to know if anyone has run into any issues or has any relevant comments.

Thanks!

Here is a thread a few pages back that should be able to answer your questions.

Sure, I've used it off and on since it started.

Basically, dont expect to get any new games for many months after they are released unless you make that game your only game on the queue. I've heard that that helps you get it sooner but still looking at a wait. Might even try going with the 2 game option, that way you can put a game that is actually available and then put the big hit that is less available.

Shipping time, which varies by location im sure, is not as fast for me as netflix, but still acceptable. id say you get a new game (assuming its available) 4-5 days after you return a game to a mailbox.

I only briefly tried the 2 game option and it was loads better than the 1 game option. if you are looking to use this to completely replace your game buying habit, id go for at least the 2 game option.

Thanks Shao. I figured there would be a thread on this somewhere, but I didn't go back far enough.

I signed up for Game Fly a day after Assassins Creed 2 was released and I managed to get it as my first game. Over the next two months I didn't get a single game that was less than a year old. Basically it seems like a "Hey, this guy is on the one month trial. Send him a new game so he sticks around. He stuck around, cool. Now that he's paying full price lets ***** him like we do everyone else" type of deal. When I had 17 games in my queue and went two weeks without getting a game due to every single game having a wait, games like Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, and many other games that have been around awhile and had no justifiable reason for having a wait list other than an insanely low inventory, I was done. I didn't even bother with the last 2-1/2 weeks of my third month, I just canceled my subscription and emptied my queue.

No, unfortunately I don't :( Only game system I have is a PC and I play MMORPGs. Though if I had more gaming systems, I would give it a shot =D Been a while since I saw a commercial on GameFly :P
