Aeria games has done it again! I was lucky enough to be a part of the closed beta testing for their newest title "Kingdom Heroes". Like most other Aeria Games titles this little gem is also a free mmorpg. What does this mean to you? The ability to play a mmorpg game with no monthly fee. Yes, that's no monthly fee!

Now, what makes this game different than all the other free to play mmorpg game titles out there? This game takes the concept of multi-unit control to a whole new level. Depending on the class that you choose you will have the ability to command 2, 4 or 6 conscripts that can change into specialized class types at level 30. Levelling your soldiers and yourself is remarkably easy given the fact that for each starting faction you have an area ready made to boost the xp that your conscripts, then soldiers can level up with. I know that this has been done before with Sword of the New World but I personally like the mechanics that Aeria games implemented better.

Also, there is the kingdom war aspect, dynasty rivals fight for control of the rather large map, during these widespread wars you can choose to fight mano v mano or jump into a ballista, crossbow, or catapult. To make battle even more interesting you also have the ability to board a ship as the captain, deck fighter (grunt) or grab a seat at the crossbow, catapult, or battery for epic ship vs. ship or ship vs ground troop battles!

The beginning quests of this game do a great job of introducing you to the UI, quests, map, skills, etc. Of course I would expect no less from Aeria Games. To top it off however GMs are actively involved with the Kingdom Heroes player base, and Aeria Games player base making sure that all troublesome issues are addressed immediately.

Have you been looking for a free mmorpg to play? Check out one of their many titles at: http://www.aeriagames.com

Happy gaming!

Undoubtedly fun and free to play, but do these shameless advertisements annoy anyone else?

Proper grammer, sentences are constructed properly... It's creepy.

I for one am just happy to see someone who can actually use the language properly, so they can stay as long as they want as long as it isn't a new advertisement every week. :P
