Jesus... that's quite the sale. Thankfully I've already spent too much money this month so it's off-limits for me. :P

Yes, but you underestimate just how much money I have spent on games or game-related items this month already. XD

Ok, this is really pissing me off. I bought BioShock2, and I love it, but in order to SAVE MY ******* GAME I'm forced to create/login to a stupid Microsoft LIVE crap, and install some stupid ******* software for the service? ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME!?

yes, they are kidding, since you can create an offline account painlessly and you dont have deal with any 'microsoft live crap'

also, bioshock 2 for 15 bucks is one hell of deal. thankfully i already have that.

ETA, if anyone doesnt have Trine, its on sale for 4 bucks for the next hour and the game is totally worth it. hell, its worth the 20 imo.

Can to point out where the offline mode option is? I saw no indication of it, or given any other option than "Create new ID" and "Log in with existing ID."

I'm mostly just irritable about it because Live claims that there's an account already tied to my gmail, but after entering the captcha over 30 times, it still wouldn't let me reset the password. So I had to start the account under my spam email at yahoo.

Kinda hidden i guess. If you have an xbox gamertag you can use that, and this will sync up with that and share achievement points.

I feel your pain man. Steam pissed me off enough with the Portal thing (when it wouldn't let me reset my password and claimed I didn't know my cat's name) that I just lost all interest in them. I'm not much of a gamer though so it's not like I could be saving hundreds of dollars I'm otherwise dropping on new games.

I just grabbed Dragon Age: Origins the other day. Steam had it at 26$ IIRC. Loving it so far. Hopefully it can sate my fantasy/RPG thirst until FFXIV.

I recommended getting Beat Hazard as well for $5 plus another $1 for the iTunes decoder plugin. It's like Audiosurf but instead of a racer it's an Asteroids/Gradius combo game. As your music speed increases/decreases the number of shot you can fire increase/decrease as well as the amount of enemy ships/asteroids on screen.

Warning: This game is not meant for people that get seizures.

EVE Online is going for $2, with a free 30 days time too. It's a ridiculously good deal even if you hate the game.

They said that the Eve Online key will not work with any current accounts, so you would need to start a new account if you had one.

This, really, do people even bother trying ANYTHING before they rage on a forum about it?
