Hello.
I'm new to the game - just started yesterday. I made a character on selbina, but was looking to recreating on besaid as from what I can gather, has a good english population.
Would this be a good fit for me? I'd love to find a linkshell to call home to. The best part of an MMO to me is the social aspect. Unfortunately having just started, I haven't really found that yet on my current server as I don't know anyone and even though it's a high population server, it seems like most everyone is japanese and I havent had a real conversation with anyone, especially since I have not yet reached the levels where people start interacting and partying more.
I consider myself friendly, loving guild related activities and generally play when I can. At this point in time, I wouldn't consider myself hardcore, but also far from inactive.
I'm also a new player (to reiterate). I'm still at the stage where I'm not really used to the interface and actually have lots of questions about the game that would be great if someone more experienced could answer. However, when I get the ropes down, I think I'll be a fine addition!
I have a lot of MMO experience, previously playing FFXI in its prime and LOVING it. Especially the leveling parties. Those were my absolute favorite. I also played WoW for a while, at one point being a guild leader for raiding in the first expansion. I actually tried WoW last week. It's just so antisocial now that I couldn't bare to level something. I've been keeping up with the FFXIV news and with my beginning experience, I feel like it's a really good fit! Still new so everythings really quirky feeling, but I do have a good idea of where this can go...
Apologize if it seemed like I ranted. If I seem like a good candidate, I'd be more than happy to reroll to Besaid. I'm only level 3 on selbina anyway ^^;
Thanks,
Senndra
:Edit: Oh! Forgot to mention that I live on the east coast and play during normal hours, usually. Like late afternoons and nights, perhaps in the mornings, etc.
