Hawk Halcyon - Formerly of ExcaliburFollow

When XIV was originally released I played that game as though it was going to be great. I kept hoping that it would take off. So in a long year I levelled and explored hoping that one day it would boom. But despite all my hopes it tanked and I felt as though I wasted a whole year of my life. Now they promise to breath new life into XIV. They promise Dark Knight in the future.

So like a broke gambler trying to make sense of his losses I am buying back in. At the promise of my great sword and the time I spent being transferred to a new world and a new game I am once again hunting for a great Linkshell. But unlike last time where I had nothing to offer but my prior MMO experience, now I bring a strong tempered character.

A little about me. I'm 27 and a prior service member. I live in Denver, CO and plan on playing on both PC and PS3. I'm all for chat programs and team strategy. I'm helpful to anyone who asks for it, but I'm absolutely against social retards and beggars (I live in the bum capital of the US). My goal is to be a DRK when it releases in the mean time I'll continue levelling everything I can and getting gear for everything to be as well rounded as I can be.

If your interested in recruiting me drop me a message on this post.

Hey Hawk,

My assumption is that you'll be interested in creating a new character rather than transferring your previous character to a legacy server. If that's the case, then we at Nemo Solus share the same aspirations as you do. Many of us have played FFXIV in the past and were let down by the experience. However, we are all anticipating its re-release and seeing what ARR has to offer by experiencing the game from square-one.

We're focused on experiencing content and not speeding towards the higher-end game content on day 1.However, when we come to that point, we will focus on progression with our group.

Our guild will be on the smaller end compared to other guilds as we're emphasizing a smaller-knit community and the members inter-relationships. We're currently at around 30 members.

If this sounds like your type of guild, please visit our website: http://nemosolus.enjin.com/

I also recommend that you browse our forums and get a sense of how our members are currently and whether or not you feel like you'll be a good fit. Reading from your post, I personally think you'll fit right in.

If you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer them below.
