Yesterday while running through Uldaman with a group, I noticed that my mana was fluctuating. I noticed that it peaked as high as 2000 and dipped as low as 1700. I checked the buffs I had on, and none of them should have increased or decreased my intellect. It was late so I could be mistaken.

For the record I had Retribution Aura, Blessing of Sanctuary, Righteous Fury, and one of my Seals on. The only buffs I can recall getting from my group members were Power Word Fortitude, and Mark of the Wild.

Is there something I'm missing as to why my mana kept fluctuating?

I don't play a druid, but I believe Mark of the Wild gives a bonus to all stats, which includes intellect. So your mana fluctuations could have been during the times when you had mark of the wild on, and times where it had expired and not reapplied yet.

I bet that's what it was mark of the wild boosts all stats like you said. One of the best buffs in the game imo.

Was there a mage in your party? If so, you may also have had Arcane Intellect, which is a direct buff to intelligence. Also, there are mobs that give you debuffs which reduce your stats - many curses and diseases affect your stamina so it may look like your health is going up and down, but there are also some that affect your intellect.

The paw increases your intellect. According to the numbers you posted it was giving you a 20 point increase to int.

It must've been less than that because a Druid's MotW will not increase stats by more than 14 at 70, unless he got the talent to boost it to 19 to all stats.

Perhaps someone found a scroll of Intellect III and decided to cast it on you on top of MotW. >_>

There are some items made by Jewwelcraters with a "Use" option that will produce a desired effect for 30 minutes. I can't remember, but I think there is at least one that increases intellect. Might have been that.

My thoughts too. A use effect aura that "increases the int of party members within 30 yards" or something would cause fluctuatiing MP when the person got out of range/in range.

I know of several stamina ones, not familiar with any int ones but that doesnt mean they arent out there.

Actually, I believe there is no JC item that boosts the party's Int. Sta, Str and Spi, as well as mana or health regen, are the only boosts available.

Furthermore, the buff is given if you are within the right range at the moment the necklace is used. If you get out of the range, you still keep the buff until it wears off.
