How much HP I need?Follow

#1 Apr 19 2007 at 9:03 AM Rating: Decent
I'm a lvl 54 gnome warrior arms+protection and I DW, any idea how much health should I have? I had 3059 hp but my warlock friend of same lvl said "Wait, you really have 3059 hp? I have as much! You're a warrior, you should at least have around 4k hp!" So I shopped for some stamina gear and now have 3500 hp but any idea how much I'm supposed to have? With 3k hp I got killed somehow much more than others.

Don't sweat what your gear is for now, once you hit the Outlands in a few levels all your gear will be replaced and you'll notice a nice jump in your HP quick quickly.

And don't stress your Sta to much, as a warrior you've other stats to worry about as well. STR and AGI for leveling. If you plan on tanking then you need to concern yourself with the Tanking stats, Block, dodge, parry, +def as well as STA

Not entirely sure of your exact spec but usually a nice 2 handed weapon is the weapon of Choice for Arms specced warriors.

well, you hp does sound a tad bit low, 3500 isnt that bad though, i know people who dinged 60 on warriors and had 3500hp >.>

comparing yourself to a lock is a bad idea as well as they tend to have lots of hp as well, if they are specced for it

just get str/ap and stam on every piece of gear and everything else will be hunkydory.

the low 50's can be a little akward gear and specwise.

run av until you win a game and grab an ibs, then spec arms/fury and you'll be taking stuff down pretty quickly.

4,000 HP used to be a level 60 warrior in some decent blue gear. 3,500 isn't bad at all.

Your spec intruiges me. Would you mind posting it up? I'm trying to picture a Arms/Prot Dual Wield build and its a bit fuzzy, so I'd like to see what you have.

As for your HP. Don't sweat comparing against locks, up until lvl 70, they can pretty much evenly match a Warrior's HP. 3500 is good for your level, but Omelette is right, don't worry about your gear/stats until lvl 70. So much stuff will change every level as you continue to quest/grind and pick up new gear.
