IS reckoning any good for pvp?

Thanks

Depends what you're fighting. If you're fighting say a Rogue, then it is *very* useful. Fast attacks = more chance to proc and when it does you can tear through their leather armour. But against a warrior or hunter, it's usefulness dwindles. It's not a necessary PvP talent, more of a PvP AoE grind ability. Doesn't mean it can't be helpful every now and then though.

Check out some paladin PvP videos. Alot of them state they are 'Reckoning Pallies'.

Reckoning is an example of a protection talent that make Holy/protection builds simply put better than Holy/retribution builds.

With Reckoning if opponents ignore you, you heal your friends and you bring you good chances to win the fight. Or if you are hit, you can continue to heal and wait for reckoning to proc, and you deal tons of damage with zero mana spent, better than any retribution talent.

Along the fact that you get damage reduction talents when you climb the protection tree to Reckoning. Good! "I am a healer, and I do no need retribution talents, I have my damage reduction talents which ones are exactly what I am looking for as a healer!"

Reckoning synergizes in PvP also pretty well with the Retribution tree. More damage dealt obviously.
