You have my sympathies. The only thing worse than kids are their parents, and I fully understand I'm way too overprotective so I'm an example of someone that'd be trouble for you. For what it's worth, I sometimes get kids that want to enlist and they bring their parents with them and they're absolutely horrible. "Why can't my child start as a Sergeant?" The same reason he can't start as a CEO. Also he's forty pounds overweight.

I hope he got in eventually. Kid sounds like he could use some training with a gun to help keep the parents at bay.

So they compromised and made Boaty McBoatface the name of one of the submersibles the thing is going to carry. That's probably for the best, less fun, but for the best.

That'd be Submersible McSubmarineface though. Smiley: mad

Subby McSubface has a certain ring to it. Would people be up for it? Is a submarine still a boat? These are important questions.

I could get behind Subby McSubface, and I've got a pretty middle of the road average sense of humor and sensibilities so I'm sure most people that wanted Boaty would be on board.

There's a boat situation here, too. Someone thought it would be a good idea to name a ferry M/F Issehoved. The problem is the F followed by Issehoved. If you add the two, you get "fissehoved", which literally translates to "c*nt head".

That's what I wanted to name the boat I was gonna get after I retire and hid from the wifeperson.

I don't think any part of my plan is thought out.

Well I just got a hey, you have been given worlds of draenor free, and 7 free days to play it! so I'm going to putter around for a week in nostalgia.

Keeping up with the addons was always a pain. Any good or bad impressions to share?

Also watching a 7 year old try to walk in heels for the first time was among the more amusing things I've witnessed in my life.

Got a Legion beta invite, so I've been messing around on the beta servers for the last couple of days.

So far, Legion looks really promising. Looks like Blizzard has learned from their mistakes (Warlords of Draenor) and is now back to taking chances. Lots of cinematics in the opening sequence of the expansion. Won't go into spoilers, but major changes happen within the first two quests of the expansion storyline.

As for Druids, my focus has primarily been on Bear Dudu, because Feral just doesn't click with me, anymore. Unfortunately, Bears got shafted in Warlords of Draenor to the point where playing one is simultaneously the most annoying and most boring experience ever. Bears in Legion look pretty amazing right now. It's still the same boring rotation, minus Lacerate (Thrash stacks to 3 instead now), but the talents allow you to mix and match your playstyle. I, personally, am a huge fan of the talent Galactic Guardian. Chance on damage (even damage over time) to launch a free Moonfire on the target. Get into an AOE situation, mash Thrash and watch the skies light up with laser beams everywhere.

And the artifact thing has won me over, primarily because it appears you can transmog any weapon to look like any other weapon now, so you're not restricted by the weapon type you're using, aside from one-handed or two-handed. And for Feral/Guardian Druids, wielding the artifact weapons come with a bonus, because the new bear and cat models look awesome. The Guardian weapon looks pretty sweet, too.

Link to Imgur with pictures.

I don't know I haven't had time to properly try it, and I'm not sure if I will. Ah well, I still haven't played the last startcraft expansion, so I'll probably just buy that and play it instead.

Maybe fire up D3 for a few weeks.

That looks like a lot of fun. Shooting people with moon lasers was always enjoyable; lots of moon lasers sounds even more so.

50% chance is probably going to be changed. It was 5% earlier, and 50% is just seizure-inducing when you're fighting lots of trash.

On another note, I really need to switch to a 16:9 monitor.

169,000 crits from moonfire, holy wow.

Smiley: lol

Weren't they going to do something about number inflation at some point?

Oh, the big hits are because I'm fighting level 60 and 70 training dummies. You do increased damage against low level targets, because that's how they handled the stat squish without breaking old raid soloing. Mega damage when soloing old content.

Edit: That said, stat inflation is real in Legion. Before they nerfed Druid health bonuses, level 110 raid geared Bears had upwards of 10 million health. Now we're back down to 8. Smiley: lol But that's mythic geared, so super end-game. My level 110 premade in PvP gear has ~2 million health.

Wife has been having contractions for 6 days now. I'm not sure what hell actually is, but I'm pretty sure this is a small slice of it.

You need to get down there and tell the little kid to come out of it's womb this second.

Good luck.

Well the doctors say he's better off inside than out at this point (not quite 37 weeks yet), so he can stay I guess. People look at you weird if you yell loudly into random vaginal openings anyway. It's more quiet this way if nothing else, as mommy is whiny, but still less whiny than a newborn. When this is all over though we're going to have a long conversation about being indecisive and causing grief for other people. Hell hath no fury like a long stern rambling dad lecture.

Thanks

I kind of just assumed you knew which womb the kid was in and it wouldn't be random. Smiley: eek
