FFXI: Error Code POL 1029Follow

Network Connection Error


I've been getting this for a couple days now, and I -think- it might be related to the latest update. But what's strange is, after the update finished it allowed me to get online. It dials in, but says that my provider certification failed. I'm not sure what this means, and it wasn't posted in the troubleshoot.

After reading a few threads, I think I might know the answer but I'm not sure. Will this go away after a week or so, or am I going to need to do something else? Also, I'm running on ps2.

I know this is really old but right now I am having the same problem. I was also able to download the last download however got this message the next day. This is the 3rd day that it has happened. Anyone know what is going on or what to do? I have also tried getting a new ISP and that didn't work, and also AOL, SE, and Sony knows nothing about it; when I call one of them I just get sent to the other two places.
