Processor type/speed: P4 2.66GHz
Total Hard drive space/Free hard drive space: Total:143GB Free:120GB
Amount of Ram: 512MB
Video card type: Some intergrated thing, FFXI looks boss though, plus not a graphical problem
Operating system: XP Home Service Pack 2
Computer model number (if it has one): Compaq SR1334NX
Frequincy of problem: A lot doesn't cover it.
Router: Linksys BEFSR41 V.3 (already checked Firmware)

I'm getting disconnected at least once a day, my connection will drop to 40%(example numbers) back to 84% down to 33% back to 100% and so on and so forth, untill I eventually D/C.

I have 2 computers, and one PS2 hooked thru my router, my PS2 was having the same problem untill I set it up DMZ style.

I have a fair bit of computer knowledge, but networking is somewhat new to me.

Any help?

Since your PS2 works in the DMZ, it sounds like a port opening issue.

Before I set the PS2 to DMZ my Wife would be on the PS2, and I would be on the internet looking up quests/synths/random stuff, and that would D/C her.

So then I tested out FFXI on my PC, had a web page in the background that auto-refreshed, and sure enough I would get D/C'd.

I think that's it, if I can think of anyhting else I'll post it, same goes for questions I'll do my best to answer them.
