FFXI - Black Screen at Start up.Follow

Hi everyone! I've had to reformat my computer recently. After reinstalling FFXI and updating all of my drivers, everytime I try to start the game up, I was always met with a black screen on the title screen. I could still hear the music and I could still see my mouse cursor.

I've tried rolling back to older drivers. While they helped, the game crashed whenever I walked into a town.

I've tried the "Check File" option on the PlayOnline sign in screen.
I've tried reinstalling FFXI three times.

I honestly don't know what else I can possibly do anymore.

If anyone has any sort of solution to this problem, I would really appreciate it.

I had read bout this long time ago, has to do with something in the FFXI config and you turn off FFXI char animation's if I remember right.

try updatin your graphics card drivers to the current build also.
