FFXI for PS2 connection problems!Follow

I have been trying for 3 weeks to start FFXI for the first time on PS2. I have a DSL connection. I bought a Linksys wireless adaptor. It connects to dsl great because all three lights are on. But I can not seem to get POL to connect. I have tried using different settings but I can't seem to get it to work. It keeps saying it will not connect.

Please help me figure this problem out. Its driving me nuts!

BTW, I am not as computer savy as some on here are so you have to simplify things for me.
