Hi i was playing on PS 2 and my HDD crashed and is not recognized by my PS2 also my machine no longer reads disks so i am switching to xbox to play. My question is by using my playonline id and password from my ps2 do i still have access too my FFXI characters. I assume all character information is stored on the central server but have been looking on the boards and haven't been able to confirm this.

Using the same login information will get you to your same characters. All character information is stored server side.
